Chairman of Caucasus Muslims Office visits Nizami Ganjavi International Center

Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade has visited the Nizami Ganjavi International Center (NGIC).
Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade first familiarized himself with the library, which contains rare publications highlighting the Islamic religion, Nizami Ganjavi’s legacy, and the works of a number of outstanding representatives of world literature. The center also houses historical manuscripts of the “Kamsa” of Nizami Ganjavi - one of Azerbaijan’s greatest poets and one of the world’s greatest minds of all time, brought from the world's largest library - the Library of Alexandria in Egypt, as well as famous museums such as the Metropolitan, Topkapi Palace, Victoria and Albert.
Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade said that Nizami Ganjavi’s legacy, his poetry, clear logic and consciousness are inaccessible, adding that they played a substantial role in humanity’s moral development and progress.
Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade hailed the important role of NGIC members they had played in conveying the true voice of Azerbaijan to the world during the struggle for the liberation of the country’s lands after 30-year-long of occupation.
NGIC Secretary General Rovhsan Muradov highlighted the activities of the Center. The sides also exchanged views on the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations 9th Global Forum to be held in the Kingdom of Morocco.
The NGIC Secretary General presented the special edition of “The Magic of Pen” book dedicated to the 880th anniversary of great Azerbaijani poet and thinker Nizami Ganjavi to Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade.
