FOURTH BAKU ENERGY SUMMER SCHOOL WRAPS UP
The summer school brought together 41 representatives from Turkey, Poland, Greece, Hungary, USA, Malaysia, Mozambique and other countries.
Renowned professors from USA, Israel, UK, France, Israel delivered lectures at the event.
Specialists of SOCAR, ExxonMobil, TOTAL, Schlumberger, Itochu, RWE and bp shared their hands-on experience on the oil and gas industry.
The 2010 Baku Summer Energy School studied a wide range of issues, such as fundamentals of energy; energy law; economics and politics of energy; environmental impacts and strategic management.
The participants learned more about the history, culture and oil strategy of Azerbaijan
Speaking to the closing ceremony, Rector of ADA Hafiz Pashayev pointed out the main aim of the summer school was to have Azerbaijan recognized internationally as not only the oil-producing country but also a knowledge exporter
Pashayev stressed that the Baku Energy Summer School proved that Azerbaijan is not only a reliable energy exporter but also a modern knowledge hub.
The participants were presented with Academy`s certificates and keepsakes.
