HEAD OF AZERBAIJAN FUTURE STUDIES SOCIETY ATTENDS CONFERENCE IN MASSACHUSETTS
Baku, July 13 (AZERTAC). Reyhan Huseynova, head of the Azerbaijan Future Studies Society has attended a Millennium Project Planning Committee Meeting in Boston and World Future Society`s conference entitled “World Future 2010: Sustainable Futures, Strategies, and Technologies,” in Massachusetts.
The Millennium Project was founded in 1996 after a three-year feasibility study with the United Nations University, Smithsonian Institution, Futures Group International, and the American Council for the UNU. Reyhan Huseynova represents Azerbaijan in the event for the second time. Addressing the meeting, Huseynova briefed the participants on what her organization had done so far.
The World Future Society`s conference offered a wealth of sessions on technology, health, governance, values, education, societal trends, business, environment, and more. Conference discussions, workshops, and informal conversations enabled participants and to exchange ideas, increase your knowledge about the future, and share insights.
Huseynova made a presentation in the event, drawing the attention to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. She stressed the necessity of soonest resolution of the conflict.
