Improvisational performance of “Mountains of Shusha” at WUF13

Baku, May 20, AZERTAC

The melody of “Mountains of Shusha” was performed within the framework of the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) held in Baku.

A trio consisting of a tar player, a kamancha master, and a naghara drummer performed the melody of the song—deeply familiar to every Azerbaijani—for forum guests.

The improvisational performance drew strong interest and admiration from visitors passing through the exhibition area.
