INDONESIA, AZERBAIJAN: RELATIONS EXPAND
Baku, Decemeber 9 (AZERTAC). Rector of the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL), head of the International Relations Committee of the Azerbaijan Parliament Samad Seyidov met Tuesday with First Secretary of the Indonesian embassy in Azerbaijan and the Islamic Republic of Iran Aji Setiawan.
During the meeting, the sides discussed Azerbaijani-Indonesian cultural, economic and political relations and prospects for future development.
Seyidov touched upon the issues of cooperation between the AUL and Indonesian universities and said recently the Jakarta Post published a large article about the activity of university students in Indonesia.
He also highlighted that the Language and Culture Centers of various countries are functioning at the University, thus, a language center of Indonesia will also be functioning in coming days at AUL.
In his turn, Aji Setiawan said the work should be continued for expansion of cooperation and achievement of concrete results. “Indonesian center at AUL will be important contribution to the improvement of Indonesian-Azerbaijani relations” he added.
The sides also discussed academic exchange between AUL and Indonesian universities and other issues.
