Japan`s Prime Minister hosts Iftar party
Baku, August 2 (AZERTAC). Japanese Prime Minister Yoshiko Noda hosted an Iftar Party for ambassadors from 48 Islamic countries, including embassy of Azerbaijan in this country.
The Premier congratulated the diplomats on Ramadan holiday. Noda said the government of Japan is respectful to the Islamic values and Moslem nations. The Iftar Party will serve mutual understanding between Japan and the Muslim nations. The Prime Minister noted the Japanese also respect the Ramadan month and hail appeals for peace, fraternity and equality in Islam.
Noda stressed the ancient relations of Japan with the Muslim world. He noted all conditions were created for Muslims to develop their religions and cultures in Japan.
During the Iftar Party, the diplomats praised the Azerbaijani cuisine.
