NAGORNO-KARABAKH IS ANCIENT AZERBAIJANI LAND, PRESIDENT
Baku, July 7 (AZERTAC). Nagorno-Karabakh is an ancient Azerbaijani land, President Ilham Aliyev has said.
The President met with representatives of the Nagorno-Karabakh`s Azerbaijani community.
“All the truth related to the conflict is now being made known to the world community as a result of our efforts. Thanks to Azerbaijan`s effective work within international organizations everything related to the conflict and the region`s history and culture is being delivered to members of those organizations.”
The President said first years of the conflict saw the spread by the Armenian lobby of false and distorted information related to the history of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
“But today we managed to have hit a great blow to false propaganda of Armenia and its lobbyist organizations. Today, the world`s all leading international organizations support Azerbaijan`s just cause with their decisions and resolutions.”
The President said: “The United Nations, European Parliament, OSCE, Council of Europe, the Organization of the Islamic Conference and other organizations have adopted well-grounded resolutions which reflect all the existing truth. And these resolutions are a basis for the settlement of the conflict.”
