Nigerian ministry official: Baku has made significant progress in modern urban development

“It’s my first visit to Baku, and I’m impressed by how developed the city is in terms of modern urban planning,” Thomas Adeyemi, Director of Building Services at Nigeria’s Federal Ministry of Works and Housing, told AZERTAC.
Stressing that this is not his first WUF experience, the Nigerian official added: “I have attended forums in Egypt, Poland, and the UAE. Working in construction and urban planning, the ‘housing for all’ theme is very important to me. We are here to share experience in key areas of urban development.”
He also highlighted Nigeria’s challenges, by saying: “With a population of around 20 million, we face housing and electricity shortages. We are here to find solutions.”
