Novruz Holiday marked in Finland

Baku, March 27 (AZERTAC). A ceremony on the occasion of the Novruz holiday was held at the Helsinki`s CAISA Cultural Center, Finland.

According to the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, the event co-organized by the Finland-Azerbaijan Association (FAA) and Finland Turkey Society, has brought together the representatives of the Government of Finland, diplomats from Turkey, Philippine and Russia accredited in Finland and others.

Chairman of the FAA Vasif Muradly, Chairman of the Women`s Society Arzu Oqtay and chairman of the Finland Turkey Society Mine Eray congratulated the guests on the holiday.

The participants become familiarized with the history of Novruz holiday, watched a video about Azerbaijan.

The meeting was followed by a live concert of head of the cultural and musical board of FAA Ulviya Jabbarova.
