Photo contest ` Foreign View` starts in Russia
Baku, July 11 (AZERTAC). The 3rd International Photo Contest “Foreign View” was opened at the Russian Presidential Library named after Boris Yeltsin in St. Petersburg.
Photographs made by foreigners in Russia as well as photographs made by Russians abroad were accepted for the contest.
This year`s contest motto is “The state yesterday, today and tomorrow.” Winners will be determined in eight nominations: “Countries and people”, “Peoples and traditions”, “Interaction of cultures”, “Modern technology”, “From the depths of history”, “Series Photo Contest”.
To participate in the Contest it is necessary to register on the Library`s portal and upload photographs using special form. More detailed information on the Contest is available at the Library`s website.
The 1st International Photo Contest “Foreign View” was organized by the Presidential Library in 2010. For two years it brought together participants almost of 30 countries such as Russia, the countries of near and far abroad.
Partners of the photo contest are Saint-Petersburg State University and Russian Union of Tourist Industry.

Photographs are accepted until October 9, 2012. Summing of the contest results and the awarding ceremony will take place in November 2012.
