PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV ATTENDS OPENING CEREMONY OF FC KARVAN’S STADIUM
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today officially inaugurated the stadium of the FC Karvan in Yevlakh.
The stadium with the capacity of 7,000 can host international matches. In addition to this, there are three more stadiums in the region.
The President had a conversation with footballers.
“I see foreign players here. They are likely to show their abilities. We must try to train local players. Unfortunately, our national team does not make us glad. Clubs play better. Strengthening of clubs will probably lead to strengthening of the national team,” the President said.
