Rally on 20th anniversary of Khojaly genocide to be held in Strasbourg
Baku, February 22 (AZERTAC). A rally dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide will be staged in Strasbourg.
The Cooperation Centre of Azerbaijanis and other Turkic Peoples (CCATP) and the Azerbaijan House will co-organize the rally in Kleber Square, Strasbourg.
According to the press service of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, head of the Azerbaijani House in Strasbourg Mustafa Alinca noted that the rally had been green lighted by the city prefecture and police department.
A photo exhibition dedicated to the 20 anniversary of Khojaly massacre and books in French and English will be demonstrated at the meeting.
613 balloons will be released as a sign of respect to the memory of the victims.
