Repeat, additional and new municipal elections end in Azerbaijan
Baku, November 30 (AZERTAC). As already reported the voting for repeat, additional and new municipal elections in Azerbaijan started at 8.00 ended at 19.00, the Central Election Commission said.
About 1,155,864 voters have been registered in 86 election constituencies.
There were 1549 candidates standing for 464 vacant seats registered in 330 municipalities that mean approximately four candidates for each vacant seat.
Voting passed in democratic, free and transparent atmosphere with no incident and irregularities registered.
By 19.00 the voter turnout was 23.46% (271 108 voters).
