Robert Sangori: Kenyan Government identifies housing provision as top strategic issue

“When we speak of sustainability, it encompasses not only infrastructure but also local governance. Within this framework, we must thoroughly analyze how sustainable urban spaces will be integrated into the process, as well as the technical aspects involved,” said Robert Sangori, Deputy Director for Urban Development at the Kenyan State Department for Housing and Urban Development, during the event titled “United for Change: Translating Africa’s Urban Position into Transformative Actions,” organized by the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa in Baku within the framework of the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).
He noted that the Government of Kenya has identified housing provision as a top strategic issue.
