Russian FM to visit Azerbaijan

Russian FM Sergey Lavrov said he will visit Baku and Yerevan at the very beginning of next week as he gave a press conference in Moscow.
"These visits will primarily mark the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia, as well as between the Russian Fedration and the Republic of Azerbaijan," the Russian FM said.
FM Lavrov underlined the Russian Federation's very close bilateral relations with each of the two countries: "We will talk about the regional and international issues, as well as try to understand the results of our efforts to settle the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict following the recent meeting of the Azerbaijani and Armenian Presidents.”
