Speaker of Azerbaijani Milli Majlis meets with Chairman of Iran’s Islamic Consultative Assembly

Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova has met with Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf on the sidelines of the 13th plenary session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA).

During the meeting, the sides discussed the topical issues on the bilateral agenda, the post-conflict situation in the region, as well as other issues of mutual interest. Speaker Sahiba Gafarova highlighted Azerbaijan's initiatives to ensure regional peace and security and foster cooperation.

The sides also discussed the current state of inter-parliamentary relations.
