5th European gas conference organized in Vienna
Baku, January 31 (AZERTAC). The 5th European gas conference was held from January 25 to 28 in Vienna, Austria. The delegation includes representatives of Azerbaijani government, experts of international organizations, heads of large European gas companies, managers of pipe line projects as well as mass media.
The conference also focused on the role of Azerbaijan in development of the South gas corridor, diversification of energy sources, as well as energy security of Europe.
The conference was attended by Austrian Federal Minister of Economy Reinhold Mitterlehner, the Head of International Gas Infrastructures within Edison Company Elio Ruggeri, Secretary-General of the Energy Charter Andre Mernier, amb. Simon Blakey (Eurogas Special Envoy), Spiros Paleoyannis, Vice-president & Deputy CEO, Public Gas Corporation (DEPA), Jesco von Kistowski, Managing Director EconGaS and others.
