Baku to host Azerbaijani-Swiss business forum

Baku, April 18, AZERTAC
Baku will host an Azerbaijani-Swiss business forum as part of the visit of the head of the Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research, Swiss commerce minister Johann Niklaus Schneider-Ammann to Azerbaijan in July.
According to the Ministry of Economy, during the visit Schneider-Ammann will also familiarize himself with Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park and Balakhani Industrial Park.
There are currently 71 Swiss companies in Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan has invested $ 1.2 billion in Switzerland. Trade between the two countries amounted to $240 million in 2017, which means more than a 40 percent growth.
