Bilateral meetings held as part of CICA Media Forum

On the sidelines of the CICA Media Forum titled "Building Trust through Media in a Polarized World", Chairman of the Media and Broadcasting Council of Azerbaijan Ahmad Ismayilov held bilateral meetings with a number of delegations.
During the meetings with President of Türkiye’s Radio and Television Supreme Council Mehmet Daniş, Pakistan’s Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training Wajiha Qamar, Secretary General of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia Kairat Sarybay, and Director of the Media Content Production Center under the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan Kobuljon Akhmedov, the participants emphasized that rapidly changing communication trends in the modern information environment necessitate closer cooperation and continuous exchange of experience among media institutions. In this regard, they noted the importance of developing relations in the media sector and promoting joint projects in various formats.
At the same time, the participants exchanged views on preserving trust in the global media landscape, media literacy, mitigating the impacts of disinformation, enhancing the quality of media content, and developing approaches suited to the new challenges posed by digital platforms.
