PARTICIPANTS FOR UNITY OF AZERBAIJAN AND TURKISH DIASPORA ORGANIZATIONS
As it was informed, the First Forum of heads of Azerbaijani and Turkish Diaspora organizations started today in Baku.
In his speech, the chairman of the State committee on work with the Azerbaijanis living abroad, Nazim Ibrahimov spoke about significance of the forum and steps undertaken by President Ilham Aliyev on achievement of solidarity of Azerbaijani and Turkish Diaspora organizations.
Atilla Pak, head of Turkish communities Federation in America, Bahaddin Gaya, president of the Congress of Azerbaijanis in Europe, Nurten Ural, head of the American Assembly of Turkish Associations, Tomris Azeri, president of Azerbaijan-American Society and others emphasized the value of the forum and declared that they support the policy of President Ilham Aliyev on achievement of unity of Azerbaijani and Turkish Diaspora organizations.
Then, the project “Strategy of joint activity of the Azerbaijani and Turkish Diaspora organizations” was discussed.
Historical, political, economical, social and psychological factors helping joint activity of Azerbaijani and Turkish Diaspora organizations, principles and directions of cooperation, and also questions on the major spheres have been reflected in the document.
