Amna bint Ahmed Al-Rumaihi: Women make up 90% of our team

“I am very pleased to deliver a speech here,” said Minister of Housing and Urban Planning of Bahrain, Amna bint Ahmed Al-Rumaihi, in her remarks at the opening session of the Women’s Assembly held as part of the WUF13.
Amna bint Ahmed Al-Rumaihi described World Urban Forum 13 as a crucial event for women and family development. She noted Bahrain’s support programs for women through the Women’s Council, with 6,500 beneficiaries in healthcare and housing initiatives. She also highlighted special attention to mothers, saying women make up 90% of her team and contribute to urban resilience, with the aim of improving quality of life.
