Anacláudia Rossbach: WUF13 is significance platform for building new partnerships

"I thank all partners involved in organizing the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum, particularly Azerbaijan. This support makes the assembly's work truly meaningful," said Anacláudia Rossbach, Executive Director of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), during the Joint Opening of Assemblies held as part of the 13th World Urban Forum (WUF13).
She described the forum as a global platform for addressing urbanization challenges, where governments, civil society, and other stakeholders share their visions for the future of cities.
Anacláudia Rossbach noted that over the past 20 years, efforts have focused on amplifying stakeholder voices globally, and that at World Urban Forum 13 participants will learn about progress made over the past decade.
She highlighted the importance of business involvement and portrayed the forum a vital platform for building new partnerships.
