ANSA news agency writes about diversification of Azerbaijan`s economy

Italy’s ANSA news agency has published an article about the diversification of Azerbaijan`s economy.
According to the article, the non-oil sector, especially construction, tourism, textiles, ICT, infrastructure, agriculture, industry, petrochemical, engineering and other fields are developing in Azerbaijan in recent years. The development of these areas is the main goal for diversification of the economy. Currently one of the fastest-growing sectors is construction. Large-scale construction projects are carried out in this country, such as "Baku White City", "Khazar Islands" and other large-scale projects.
“Baku is a metropolis in the way of progress. The number of foreigners coming to this city to work, invest, live and rest is increasing rapidly. There are many large-scale projects to be implemented in Azerbaijan, such as the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway, the new Baku International Sea Trade Port Complex in Alat district, International Airport and the expansion of the Baku Metro network,” said head of AZPROMO Rufat Mammadov.
Mr Mammadov also spoke about the development of non-oil sector in the country.
