Azerbaijan and Czech boost cooperation

Baku, October 25 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani ambassador to the Czech Republic Tahir Tagizade visited this county`s Ostrava city.

Mr. Tagizade gave an interview to the Czech Television. Ambassador met with governor of Morovia-Silesiya region Mr. Yaroslav Palas to discuss development of the economic relations, attraction of tourists and cooperation among the higher educational institutions of two countries.

Mr. Tagizade met also with deputy mayor of Ostrava city Simona Piperkova. The sides touched on creation of partnership between Ostrava and Sumgait city of Azerbaijan, cooperation among the scientific and cultural institutions, establishment of “Czech-Azerbaijan cultural forum” in Ostrava museum. Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno Karabakh problem was also in the focus of meeting.

A ceremony of presentation of “Irs” (Heritage) magazine held in Ostrava museum.
