AZERBAIJAN, FRANCE DISCUSS EDUCATION COOPERATION
Baku, May 5 (AZERTAC). Education Minister of Azerbaijan Misir Mardanov met Wednesday French ambassador Gabriel Keller to discuss how to boost bilateral cooperation.
The Minister told of the education cooperation between the two countries and teaching of the French language in secondary schools in his country. He also stressed the necessity of carrying out relevant projects.
Mardanov expressed belief that “our cooperation in education sphere will expand even more in the future.”
Ambassador Keller, in turn, put forward his proposals concerning establishment of an Azerbaijan-French school.
The sides also agreed to set up a joint working group to deal with the problems of Azerbaijani students studying in French universities.
