Azerbaijan-Georgia trade exceeds $248 million
Tbilisi, March 29, AZERTAC
The trade between Azerbaijan and Georgia made up $248.8 million in January-February of 2022, which is 49 percent more than in the same period of 2021, according to the Georgia`s National Statistics Office.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan became Georgia's third largest trading partner after Turkey and Russia.
Georgia imported $156.5 million worth of goods from Azerbaijan, which is 55.5 percent more than in the same period last year.
The volume of exports from Georgia to Azerbaijan increased by 39.1 percent compared to the same period last year and amounted to $92.3 million.
The trade turnover between Georgia and Azerbaijan exceeded $1.1 billion in 2021, which accounted for 7.9 percent of Georgia's foreign trade.
