`AZERBAIJAN LAYS GROUNDWORK FOR ELECTRONIC PARLIAMENT MODEL `
Baku, June 30 (AZERTAC). The parliament of Azerbaijan is one of the most beautiful parliaments in not only Europe but also the world. I can say for sure that Azerbaijan laid a foundation for a model of electronic parliament, said speaker of the Albanian parliament Jozefina Topalli at a meeting with her Azerbaijani counterpart Ogtay Asadov.
Speaker of Azerbaijan parliament briefed Topalli on the activity and international ties of the Milli Majlis. He pointed out Azerbaijan and Albania have a long history of friendly relations. Asadov pointed out reciprocal ties of Heads of State, heads of parliament and MPs as well as talks held play an important role in strengthening cooperation.
“We believe your visit would give a fillip to not only parliament-to-parliament ties but also relations in all fields,” said Asadov.
Topalli said new infrastructure, modern technologies suggest happy future of the country.
The sides underlined the importance of increasing the number of reciprocal trips of both countries` parliamentarians and promoting experience exchange between the parliaments.
Speaker of the Albanian parliament toured the Milli Majlis` building and saw the Heydar Aliyev`s memorial museum here.
