AZERBAIJAN, NETHERLANDS DISCUSS MIGRATION COOPERATION
Baku, August 9 (AZERTAC). Chief of Azerbaijan`s Migration Service Arzu Rahimov has met today Minister of Justice of the Netherlands Ernst Hirsch Ballin.
Rahimov briefed the Dutch Minister on the migration policy being pursued in his country and the workings of the Service.
Rahimov noted friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Netherlands were successfully developing.
He recalled his visit to the Netherlands in 2009, saying it played great role in establishment and development of bilateral migration cooperation.
Rahimov said the legislation on migration in his country meets international standards.
For his part, Ernst Hirsch Ballin praised what had been done to boost economic, social and cultural cooperation between the two countries. He also hailed the migration reforms carried out in Azerbaijan.
The Dutch Minister pointed out his country was interested in development of migration cooperation with Azerbaijan.
The sides exchanged views on prospects for relevant cooperation and other issues of mutual interest.
