AZERBAIJAN PRESIDENT INSTRUCTS EMERGENCY SITUATIONS MINISTRY TO SEND TWO HELICOPTERS TO RUSSIA
Baku, August 4 (AZERTAC). In accordance with instructions of Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev, Ministry of Emergency Situations sent two helicopters to Russia because of the forest fires.
Firefighting helicopters with 19 crew members took off from the Heydar Aliyev International Airport.
The helicopters will prevent forest fires near the cities Voronezh and Lipetsk, chief of the aviation unit of the Ministry, colonel Ashraf Gasimov said He said the unit will stay in Russia within 14 days.
