AZERBAIJAN PRESIDENT OFFERS INDEPENDENCE DAY GREETINGS TO MOLDOVA`S ACTING PRESIDENT
Baku, August 26 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of congratulation to the acting President of Moldova Mihai Ghimpu on his country`s national holiday - the Independence Day.
In his congratulatory letter, the Azerbaijani leader said: “On behalf of the Azerbaijani people, and on my own behalf, I offer sincere congratulations to you and the whole people of Moldova.”
“I believe friendly and cooperative relations between Azerbaijan and Moldova will continue developing and expanding in line with interests of our peoples,” the Azerbaijani leader said in his message.
President Ilham Aliyev extended best regards to Mihai Ghimpu and wished the people of Moldova peace and prosperity.
