Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia discuss prospects for cooperation

Azerbaijani Ambassador to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Shahin Abdullayev met with Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country Waleed bin Abdulkarim El-Khereiji.
The sides discussed the prospects for cooperation between the two friendly countries, as well as hailed the successful development of relations.
The ambassador informed the Saudi Arabian Vice Minister about the preparations for the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) scheduled to be held in Baku this November. The Azerbaijani diplomat expressed hope that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia would actively participate in this prestigious event.
During the meeting, they also discussed the relations between the two countries, ways to enhance them in all fields, and issues of common interest.
