AZERBAIJANI MINISTER ATTENDS LONDON ENERGY MINISTERS MEETING
Azerbaijan Minister of Industry and Energy Natig Aliyev attended a meeting of energy ministers of oil producing and consuming countries on December 18-19 in London, said Azerbaijan`s embassy to Great Britain.
Along with OPEC countries, energy ministers of 30 countries as well as representatives of International Energy Agency and International Energy Forum also participated in the event.
Speaking to the meeting, British Prime Minister Gordon Brown said the event was aimed at establishment of cooperation among oil producing and consuming countries and stabilize oil price in world markets.
Meeting participants also exchanged views on ways of finding alternative energy resources.
