AZERBAIJANI OMBUDSWOMAN TO PARTICIPATE IN OSCE MEETING ON HUMAN RIGHTS IN AUSTRIA
Ombudswoman of Azerbaijan Elmira Suleymanova will be attending a “Human Rights Defenders and National Human Rights Institutions: Legislative, State and Non-state Aspects” meeting of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), to be held from 30 - 31 March, in Austrian capital, Vienna.
She is also scheduled to participate at the plenary session of the European Ombudsman Institute April 1 in Innsbruck, Austria, where she will make statements on Armenian genocide and terror against Azerbaijani people.
Elmira Suleymanova will also meet with representatives of the Azerbaijani Diaspora in Austria and attend a commemoration ceremony in the Azerbaijani Embassy on the occasion of the Day of Genocide of Azerbaijanis and Kalbajar’s (the Azerbaijani region which is now under the control of Armenian separatists) occupation anniversary.
