Azerbaijan`s Minister of Culture and Tourism meets representatives of foreign Media
Baku, September 7 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfaz Garayev has today met representatives of foreign media from US, UK, Germany, Spain, Ireland and the other countries, which were participating in the Flavours of the Silk Road: International Conference on Food, Culture and Tourism conference.
Mr. Garayev briefed the foreign representatives on Azerbaijan`s ancient cultural heritage and tourism potential.
Noting the governmental care in the cultural sphere in the country over the last years, the Minister said that such cultural places were renovated and provided with the state-of-the-art technologies in Azerbaijan.
Mr. Garayev also provided information about the progress achieved in development of tourism.
They also discussed simplification of the visa regime, realization of international cultural projects, broadcasting the important news on Azerbaijan` cultural life in foreign media and the other issues.
