AZERI AMBASSADOR PRESENTS CREDENTIALS TO KUWAITI EMIR
Baku, August 9 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s ambassador to Kuwait Tural Rzayev has today presented his credentials to Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
During the conversation, Rzayev said Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev attaches great importance to development of relations between the “friendly” countries.
The Azeri ambassador expressed hope that the Emir`s possible visit to Azerbaijan would contribute to expanding the bilateral relations.
Rzayev also conveyed greetings of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to the Emir and friendly people of Kuwait.
The Ambassador thanked the Emir and Kuwaiti people for supporting Azerbaijan`s fair stance on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad said “we are interested in developing cooperation with Azerbaijan”.
The Emir expressed confidence relations between the two countries would further expand.
He asked the Ambassador to convey his greetings to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
