AZERI CULTURE MINISTER MEETS QATARI, CAMEROONIAN AND MOROCCAN COUNTERPARTS
Baku, October 15 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s culture minister Abulfaz Garayev has separately met his Qatari, Cameroonian and Moroccan counterparts who are here for the 6th Islamic Conference of Culture Ministers.
With Qatari Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage, Hamad Al-Kawari, Garayev discussed prospects for the cultural cooperation between the two countries. Al-Kawari praised Azerbaijan`s development. He also hailed the organization of the 6th Islamic Conference of Culture Ministers.
During the meeting with Cameroon`s Minister of Culture Ama Tutu Muna, Garayev said reciprocal visits contribute to boosting the bilateral relations. Tutu Muna praised the level of tolerance towards national minorities and representatives of different religions in Azerbaijan. The two ministers explored prospects for expanding the Azerbaijan-Cameroon cultural cooperation.
Cultural relations were also the focus of Garayev`s meeting with Moroccan culture minister Bensalem Himmich. The Azeri minister said “the holding of the Moroccan culture days in Baku will give a boost to our cultural cooperation”. Himmich said the Moroccan government places a particular emphasis on its relations with Azerbaijan. The Moroccan minister also praised the organization of the 6th Islamic Conference of Culture Ministers, saying “I believe it will contribute to bringing the Islamic countries closer to one another”.
Himmich said Morocco will also host the days of the Azerbaijani culture, adding “this kind of events is what boosts the expansion of the cultural cooperation between our countries”.
