AZERI PRIMER MEETS DUTCH SENATE`S PRESIDENT
Baku, September 8 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s Prime Minister Artur Rasizade has met today President of the Dutch Senate Rene van der Linden.
Rasizade praised the fact that relations between Azerbaijan and Netherlands were based on friendly principles.
He noted the Senate President`s visit to Azerbaijan would contribute to deepening bilateral ties.
The Prime Minister pointed out there were great opportunities for expansion of the relationship between the two countries.
For his part, Rene van der Linden said he was honored to visit Azerbaijan for the next time.
He said his country attaches great importance to the parliamentary diplomacy. He added one of the purposes of his visit was to discuss how to strengthen the parliamentary ties between the two countries.
Rene van der Linden also underlined the Netherlands was interested in cooperation with Azerbaijan.
The sides also exchanged views on the current state of bilateral trade, economic and education cooperation, exchange of students and studying the experience of the Netherlands in development of farming.
