Belarusian diplomats pay tribute to twice Hero of Soviet Union Hazi Aslanov

Diplomats of the Belarusian Embassy in Azerbaijan, including Ambassador Nikolay Patskevich and military attaché Andrey Lemechevsky have visited the grave of twice Hero of the Soviet Union Hazi Aslanov on the occasion of the 105th anniversary of his birthday. They put flowers at a monument to the hero.

Hazi Aslanov was born on January 22, 1910 in Lankaran. He confirmed himself as a talented commander during the years of the World War. Under his leadership, the 35th Guards Tank Brigade took part in the liberation of Belarusian Vileyka, Minsk, Molodechno cities from the German-fascist occupiers. He was awarded with the Hero of the Soviet Union title for successful military operations for liberation of Belarus.
