BUS ACCIDENT KILLS 5, INJURES 21 IN BOLIVIA
Baku, July 10 (AZERTAC). At least five people died and 21 others were injured when a bus fell into a cliff of 20-meter depth on Friday in Challamyu town, Bolivia, Xinhua says.
The bus from the Illimani company left on Thursday night from La Paz to the city of Potosi. It had the accident just 70 kilometers far from Potosi, capital of Potosi department.
The accident occurred at 2:30 a.m. local time and the company said it will cover the hospital expenses of the injured, as it has an insurance for accidents.
The injured were taken to Daniel Bracamonte Hospital and the Health Center of Potosi city.
According to the preliminary reports, the accident was due to speeding.
