Chairman of Caucasian Muslims Office meets special representative of Kazakh Senate
Baku, February 29 (AZERTAC). Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade has met special representative of the Senate of Kazakhstan Oralbek Abdikarimov.
Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade said that relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan have ancient roots and the countries develop cooperation dynamically in different spheres.
“Azerbaijan`s national leader Heydar Aliyev and Kazakhstan`s President Nursultan Nazarbayev were close friends. Nowadays, President Ilham Aliyev continues the bilateral cooperation course.”
In his turn, Oralbek Abdikarimov noted that he has come to Baku to invite the chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office to the 4th congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions under the motto “Peace and accord as a choice of humankind” to be held in Astana on May 30-31.
Allahshukur Pashazade accepted the invitaion.
The meeting was attended by Bishop Alexander Ishein of Baku and the Caspian diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church and Kazakh ambassador to the country Serik Primbetov.
