Claudia Baranzelli: Azerbaijan will soon join the OECD Local Data Portal

“The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is launching a new “Local Data Portal” on cities within the framework of the 13th UN World Urban Forum (WUF13), which presents urban data and indicators. The portal currently includes OECD member and candidate countries; however, it is planned to expand the platform in the near future to include non-member countries as well, including Azerbaijan,” Claudia Baranzelli, Coordinator of the Geospatial Analysis team and the Geospatial Lab at the OECD’s Centre for Entrepreneurship, told AZERTAC.
She said they aim to expand cooperation to include Azerbaijan and integrate it into the OECD portal, which provides city data and indicators across key policy areas and supports visualization of urban trends. Claudia Baranzelli praised WUF13 as an important platform for cooperation.
