Delegates of China and Azerbaijan participate in roundtable meeting
Baku, December 23 (AZERTAC). The delegates of China and Azerbaijan participated in a roundtable meeting organized by New Azerbaijan Party (YAP).
Azeri MP Rufat Guliyev told of political stability and economic achievements in the country. He said President Ilham Aliyev successfully continues a political course of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
Chinese official Chen Fensian said he has arrived in Baku to participate in an international conference on “Modernization policy” new economic and social challenges”. Mr. Fensian said the Chinese Communist Party and YAP have established close cooperation. He praised reforms being implemented in Azerbaijan.
The guest said election of Azerbaijan as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council is a momentous event.
The political processes taking place in the world, global economic crisis and its consequences, widening of the bilateral relations were discussed at the meeting.
