ECONOMIC GROWTH IN AZERBAIJAN GOES IN HIGHEST RATE IN WORLD
Creation in the Azerbaijan Republic as a result of the work done for last two years of more than 340 thousand new workplaces, opening of the enterprises, social objects serves Azerbaijani people, strengthens the country.
These words have been told by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev at the conference devoted to the second year of the State Program of socio-economic development of regions.
The President has told: “All these successes base on the program of serious economic reforms started in mid-90s of the last century. Today, economic growth in Azerbaijan goes in highest rate in the world, and the world is aware of this. Past year the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) has grown more than for 26 percent, industrial production - for 33,5 percent, monetary incomes of the population - for 27 percent.
