Egyptian website: EU welcomes Azerbaijani President`s decree to pardon

Egyptian www.almasryalyoum.com website has published an article, whish stresses that "the European Union welcomes Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev`s decree to pardon prisoners, including journalists and oppositional activists on the occasion of the World Azerbaijanis Day”. The article says “the EU described the decree of the President as a “positive step”.
The article notes biography, health status, marital status of prisoners, their behavior while serving their sentence were taken into account while making a decision on pardoning 79 prisoners.
