FM OF AZERBAIJAN MEETS CHARGE D'AFFAIRES OF KOREA
E. Mammadyarov has congratulated the Korean guest on new appointment, informing that the embassy of Azerbaijan will open in the near future in the Republic of Korea. He has noted, that for the further development of relations between two countries it is necessary to carry out joint business-forums, and create inter-governmental commission.
The sides had comprehensive exchange of views on organizational issues, connected to the forthcoming official visit of the Preisdent of the Republic of Korea Roh Moo-hyun to Azerbaijan, and bilateral documents to be signed. Mr. Mammadyarov expressed assurance, that the visit would be success and serve development of relations between two countries.
Having noted, that the Korean businessmen show big interest to Azerbaijan, Lu Kwang Chul has informed, that businessmen of its country attach special significance to cooperation with Azerbaijan in such fields as oil, telecommunication, transport, development of gold mines. He expressed confidence that Days of Culture of Azerbaijan which the Azerbaijan-Korean Association of culture (SEBA) will lead this year in Korea, would make certain contribution to strengthening cultural links between two people.
In the meeting, also were focused on a range of questions of mutual interest.
