‘French parliament`s bill is unjust’

Commenting on the bill adopted by the French Parliament aiming at criminalizing negation of the so-called Armenian genocide, Chief of the Foreign Relations Department of Azerbaijan Presidential Administration Novruz Mammadov called it unjust.

Mammadov added the parliament`s step would have negative effect on democratic image of France.

Mammadov also noted the bill restricts freedom of expression of citizens. He pointed out the French parliament`s step could also influence Azerbaijan-France relationship. He added official Baku would take relevant steps after a certain time.
