Group of Azerbaijani children in need visits Georgia
Baku, August 31 (AZERTAC). The Heydar Aliyev Foundation organized a charity trip for a group of Azerbaijani and Georgian children in need.
As part of the trip, which will be held from September 1 to 11, Azerbaijani children will be in Georgia for 10 days. In turn, the Georgian delegation consisting of 16 people in this period will stay in Azerbaijan.
Some 17 Azerbaijani children and their escorts left for Tbilisi on August 31.
As part of the trip, they will visit the Art Museum in, the open-air Museum of Ethnography, different cities of Georgia.
During the visit to Azerbaijan, the Georgian delegation will visit the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the International Mugham Center, the Museum of Modern Art, and Museum of Azerbaijan History. In addition, the delegation will visit the Old City in Baku and the National Seashore Park.
The tourists will also travel to Gabala region of Azerbaijan.
This charity trip is initiated by the First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva and First Lady of Georgia Sandra Elisabeth Roelofs.
All the expenses will be paid by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
