HERALDRY COUNCIL HOLDS MEETING
Members of the Council have familiarized with the project of the plan of work, had exchange of opinions concerning the analysis existing in Azerbaijan in this area of experience, definition of the basic heraldic attributes reflecting essence of symbols of the independent Azerbaijan state, the analysis from the point of view of the theory of heraldry of present awards, medals and breastplates of Azerbaijan and preparation of offers on their new registration, definitions of main principles of the heraldry and other aspects. And also the main principles of heraldry reflected in ornaments and watermarks, connected with preparation and printing in Azerbaijan of securities, other important documents representing special value, creations in the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan of the Sector of Heraldry, the organization in the Academy of State Administration of theoretical courses on heraldry (genealogy, numismatics, paleography, etc.).
In the meeting, have been put forward the offers connected with creation in the Azerbaijan Republic of a special museum of heraldry, the emblems of cities and the regions, the special form of clothes of national guards, and also various trade marks existing now, breastplates and symbols, was recognized expedient to bring to members of the Council the present image and the statute of awards and medals of Azerbaijan and to continue discussion in this direction, to place offers on work of the Heraldry Council on special Internet-site or to direct them to Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences.
