INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION ROSE 6.8%
Industrial production rose 6.8% over the past eleven months year-on-year to 26.7 billion mantas, according to the State Statics Committee of in Azerbaijan.
Reportedly, it saw 6.7% and 6.9% growth in oil and non-oil sector respectively. Production of oil increased by 5.5%, of gas by 52.1%, of food products by 0.6%, of chemical products by 37.4, of leather, leather products and footwear by 32.5%, of metallurgical products by 27.9% and of machinery and equipment by 10.1%.
Over the mentioned period, state-owned and private companies produced 18.3% and 81.7% of industrial products increasing production by 5% and 7.2% respectively.
The industries sold 99.9% of their products to consumers.
