Baku, April 24, AZERTAC
The national airline of the Islamic Republic of Iran Air announces that it will resume international flights as of April 25, according to IRNA.
The flag carrier of the Islamic Republic of Iran will resume its international flights on five routes from Imam Khomeini International Airport.
The flights are being reinstated following the issuance of necessary permits from relevant authorities.
The move aims to meet passenger demand for destinations including Istanbul, Baku, Doha, Najaf, and Baghdad.
The airliner had suspended flights following heightened tensions in the region and the US-Israeli terror attacks on Iran in late February.
